This is a sturdy adapter to allow the use of your 1-1/4" eyepiece in 2" focus tubes and diagonals. It is very sturdy and
of all metal construction.
One fine point should be mentioned. When you tighten down the set screw on an eyepiece with
most such adapters you have a chance of marring the finish of the eyepiece barrel. As shown in the photo, there is an brass
retaining ring on our adapter that is tightened by the set screw. Instead of your eyepiece being held by one set screw causing
nicks, it is held around a large portion of its diameter by the softer brass ring. Don't destroy the appearance of your high end
Tele VueŽ and MeadeŽ eyepieces. There were no compromises and a lot of thought going into the design of this adapter. A basic
accessory but one that is well made and designed by GSO.

This is a sturdy adapter to allow the use of your 2" eyepieces, diagonals, and other accessories on your SCT. The use of 2 inch
eyepieces gives you a greater field of view on your telescope. This is very sturdy visual back and of all metal construction.

 This photo adapter slides into the 1-1/4" eyepiece holders. It attaches to your SLR camera using your T-Ring adapter (not included) to provide four different photographic modes with your telescope:
- Prime Focus Photography - Use direct with your camera
- Simple Barlow Projection - Use above with your barlow and camera
- Eyepiece Projection - Use your eyepiece in extension tube
- Extended Barlow Projection - Use extension tube with your barlow (Extended barlow projection makes a 2X barlow into a 3X or more barlow)
- This new, improved model fits standard eyepiece filters and the lens assembly from our 2X Barlow. With this arrangement, it is about a 1.75X Barlow equivalent.
Total length with extension is about 95 mm (3-3/4"). This is a reasonably priced, but high quality product. Compare it to the adapters offered in the national magazines.
