This microscope has the standard sized professional metal body. Included are a 15X WF (wide field) eyepiece and 4X, 10X, 40X, and 100X(oil) objectives. This combination gives the following powers: 60X, 150X, 600X, and 1500X. The powers included give a range of viewable specimens from whole small insects to bacteria. The highest power objective (100X) is an oil immersion objective. It requires immersion oil to give its best images. This is not included but is widely sold on eBay and elsewhere. Using an oil immersion objective is the only way to get high resolution images at powers of 1000X and greater.

Comes with light condenser lens, iris diaphragm with filter-holder, and dust cover.

PLEASE NOTE: This microscope has a three objective turret as shown. You may mount up to three objectives at the same time. Because this microscope takes standard sized eyepieces and objectives, you may get a range of additional powers as needed.

While quite inexpensive, this is NOT a toy microscope. It is a full-sized professional microscope with course and fine focus controls. This is an excellent choice for a microscope for student and home schooling use. This is the standard type of microscope for Pre-Med college training.

These microscope are intended for advanced college courses and research. Included are a 10X WF (wide field) eyepiece (two with the binocular microscope) and 4X, 10X, 40X, and 100X(oil) objectives. This combination gives the following powers: 40X, 100X, 400X, and 1000X. The powers included give a range of viewable specimens. The highest power objective (100X) is an oil immersion objective. It requires immersion oil to give its best images. All four objectives may be mounted at the same time on the four objective turret. With the optional 15X eyepiece, you would get additional powers of 60X, 150X, 600X, and 1500X.

Both of these microscopes have smooth course and fine focus controls and inclined heads with 360° rotation. The mechanical stage is calibrated. Light intensity is regulated with A.N. 1.2 condenser and iris diaphragm with filter-holder. The binocular head is suppled with two 10X WF eyepieces and inter-pupillary distance adjustment. Dust covers are included.
